Julie and Jacob’s elopement from Denmark to Rome, Italy, is a tale of spontaneity, romance, and the desire to embark on a new chapter together. What makes their story even more extraordinary is the fact that they chose to tie the knot at the pretty Lukasgården, Svenska Kyrkan, a Swedish church in Rome, without informing their families. Intrigued by the idea of eloping, Julie and Jacob embarked on a clandestine plan to surprise their families and create an intimate, unforgettable moment for themselves.
The church’s tranquil surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic celebration. The ceremony took place in the Gardens of the Church, Lukasgården, a hidden gem nestled amidst Rome’s architectural wonders. Its intimate ambiance resonated deeply with the couple, making it their ideal location to exchange their vows and to receive the bless from the priest.
Following the ceremony, we embarked on a dreamy photoshoot in the picturesque Villa Borghese. The sprawling gardens provided a breathtaking backdrop for their love to shine through my lens. As they strolled hand in hand through the garden’s paths, I could freeze some very cute moments.
