Intimate Elopement at the JW Marriott Venice | Dimple & Sam

June in Venice is a symphony of sunlight, shimmering waters, and historic splendor. For Dimple and Sam, it was the perfect time and place for an intimate elopement at JW Marriott Venice. I had the privilege of being their photographer, capturing the unfolding romance and timeless beauty of their special day. As the sole witness to their nuptials, I became part of their love story, a silent observer chronicling moments of tenderness and joy. Nestled on the private island of Isola delle Rose, the hotel offers a blend of modern luxury and Venetian charm. The morning air was crisp, the sky a canvas of azure blue, as the couple prepared for their vows.

The ceremony took place in a secluded garden within the hotel’s grounds, a haven of tranquility adorned with white curtains and white flowers. The officiant, a local Venetian with a warm and gentle demeanor, guided them through their vows.

With the ceremony complete, we embarked on a boat tour to explore the canals of Venice. The city, often described as a floating masterpiece, revealed its magic as we glided through its waterways. Dimple and Sam were radiant, their joy palpable as they basked in the afterglow of their union.

A highlight of our tour was a stop at the Tiffany & Co. store in Venice. The store, housed in a historic building, exuded elegance and sophistication. Dimple and Sam were welcomed warmly by the store’s staff, who seemed to understand the significance of the moment. The Tiffany store provided a unique setting for photographs, blending modern luxury with historic charm.

Our boat tour concluded with our arrival at the Hotel Danieli, one of Venice’s most luxurious and storied hotels. The hotel, a blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, stands as a testament to the city’s rich history and cultural heritage. Dimple and Sam had reserved a private table for dinner, a fitting end to their magical day.

My approach to weddings is a mix of  a photo-journalistic one, also known as reportage, with a twist for editorial and elegant images. I love spontanous shots and I work in a very unobtrusive way, people normaly don’t realize when I am taking photos of them.

I am based in Italy but I am available to travel anywhere.

Yes, I do edit my photos. I believe the editing is a very important part of my job, it’s the signature of my work. However, I believe that postproduction should not twist the image but it should be limited to the colors, lights and contrast to keep a very natural look.

Sure! You can request the quote by calling me or filling out the form.

The payment is divided in two parts:

  • 30% to lock the date in when you sign the contract.

All images will be personally and individually edited to the highest standard and supplied in high resolution on an online private gallery.

Average amount of photos supplied between 500 – 800, depending on the type of the event.

I cover the entire event, from couples’ preparations until the end of reception. I generally stay until the cake cut/final dances.

Normally I send a few highlights a couple of days after the wedding and I deliver the entire gallery 90 days after the wedding date.
